A CREATIVE-PRODUCTIVE APPROACH TO FOREIGN
LANGUAGE TEXTS. 1. RUSSIAN EXERCISES WITH HUNGARIAN
LINGUISTIC AND SOCIO-CULTURAL BACKGROUND

SZERGEJ TÓTH – LÁSZLÓ VASS

The present study shows some creative-productive exercises using Russian texts. The exercises were completed by twentyone pupils from the 7th and 8th form of primaries, some from the intensive summer school of Gyula Juhász Teacher Training College entitled „Textology and the world of texts”, some from the Endre Ságvári Demonstration Primary School of the Attila József University. The exercises contain the main components of the „signifier-signified” structure of the text (its vehicle, formation, sense and relatedness). The aim of the exercises is to help the work of Hungarian teachers/students, teaching and learning foreign language in a sociocultural context with Hungarian as the mother tongue. The work is – at present – of experimental character.
