This paper is dealing with the following four topics: (a) aspects of the combinatorial literary works generated by computer, and its non-computerized forerunners; (b) aspects of the hypertextual literary works generated by computer, and its non-computerized forerunners; (c) the use of hypertexts in the literary criticism; (d) some aspects of the virtual reality. In every cases the main properties of the given object are treated, as well as the consequences created by these objects for the future intellectual activity.
