5. Research on textology: topics, results,
tasks (302 pages)
(1992)
Unlike the thematic units of the previously
mentioned volumes, Vol. 5 and Vol. 7 of Semiotic
Textology have their own specific subject. The Studies sections of Vol.
5 and Vol. 7 contain essays about research on textology which were based
on an invitation, and papers on the textological analysis of products of
multimedia communication, respectively.
In September, 1991 a number of Hungarian researchers
and lecturers dealing with various issues of textology were invited to
(a) summarise their experience of
examining texts; (b) outline their future plans and conceptions; (c) contribute
ideas, proposals, suggestions, etc. to the co-ordinated development of
textology; (d) help experts in other subjects, students and those interested
to better understand textological concepts and tools.
The Studies section of Vol. 5 of Semiotic Textology
contains essays based on this invitation.
