7. Approaches to the semiotic textological
aspects of the elements of multimedial communication (237)
(1994)
Unlike the thematic units of the previously
mentioned volumes, Vol.
5 and Vol. 7 of Semiotic
Textology have their own specific subject. The Studies sections of Vol.
5 and Vol. 7 contain essays about research on textology which were based
on an invitation, and papers on the textological analysis of products of
multimedia communication, respectively.
Vol. 7 of Semiotic Textology contains essays
which deal with semiotic textological approaches to the analysis of the
elements of multimedia communication. The aim of this volume was to contribute
to the elaboration of a textological model which can then serve as a general
theoretical framework for the study of human communication on the one hand;
and to put those topics that had previously been discussed and referred
to as ‘dominantly verbal human communication’ in their proper place within
this framework on the other hand.
