7.1 Working with texts. Mnemonics
A Mnemonic (the “Mn” is pronounced simply “N”) is a phrase or sentence which helps us to remember something else: usually, the first letter of each word gives us the first letter of the words we are trying to remember.
So, for example, there are 6 strings on a guitar, and each is tuned to a different note.
The 6th string is tuned to the note E
The 5th string is tuned to the note A
The 4th string is tuned to the note D
The 3rd string is tuned to the note G
The 2nd string is tuned to the note B
The 1st string is tuned to the note E
