Seasons

In this lesson, students will look at different features of the seasons. They will listen to and sing a song, and watch a story about the changing seasons. They will think about words and ideas connected to the different seasons, and then work together to produce a poster. Finally students can complete a craft activity or play a game.

Parts of the body

Children will review or be introduced to vocabulary for parts of the body. They will either sing a song about parts of the body or extend their language through inventing a monster, or they can focus on internal parts of the body through a quiz, and practise describing people’s faces in detail. Finally, they can complete a project on how to have a healthy lifestyle.

Time

In this lesson, students will be introduced to telling the time in English. They will practise telling the time with a variety of games and activities, and will make their own clock. They will then watch a story about children around the world doing different things at different times. Finally, they will practise using the present continuous to describe their actions and other children’s actions as they mime.
