What new realities is every EFL/ESL teacher facing? Do you accept these?

 

  • Teachers need electricity skills because learning through digital technology engages students in active discussions, collaboration, presentation and learning. New formats of electricity are providing more opportunities for students to engage in synchronous learning (collaborative, communicative and in real-time).
  • Understanding new educational trends. Teachers are expected to embrace every new software gadget that comes along, often without adequate training.
  • Learning is also changing
  • Listening to the voice of other professionals
  • Coping with the problems between  rural and urban education and school climates
  • Dealing with a wide group of disorders: Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dysortographia, Dyscalculia, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD)
  • Diagnosing students’ needs and measuring their learning
  • Dealing with lack of interest and motivation
  • The context within which children learn continues to formalize and commercialize.
