The instruction of passes
The instruction of passes is based on the instruction of overarm (upper) passes with one hand. Through the process of teaching this technical element, the instruction of the other passes and the technique of catching the ball can also be realised.
The method of instruction can be organised according to three points.

- Individually
- Individually at the wall
- In pairs facing or next to each other

- In tetragon shape
- Three or more people in a formation of one line

- In a double-line front-line formation
- In mixed formation
- In position connections
- In scattered formation
- In formations defined by physical education games

- In a handball game
According to the dynamics of instruction:
- In place, from a throwing straddle
- From one or two steps
- From walking
- In slow running
- In dynamic running
- In extra man situation
- With the same number of players
- In man down situation (against extra man)
- With simplified rules
- With more difficult rules
- In match situations
According to the presence of defenders:
- Without a defender
- With a semi-active defender
