U12-U13

The rules of football apply. The differences:

Size of the playing field: min. 45 x 65m, - max. 50 x 70m

Size of the goal:  5 x 2 m

Penalty area: 12 m from the goal line, marked by buoys

Size of ball: 4

Playing time: 20 minutes/ match, maximum 100 minutes/ tournament

Number of players: 8 against 8 + goalkeepers

Penalty: in case of offences within the penalty area (12 m) a penalty kick follows; the penalty point is 9 metres from the centre of the goal.

Every player entered for the match must spend at least 50 % of the playing time in the playing field.

Switching direction: no!

The goalkeeper must not forward the ball directly to opponent’s half either when the ball is in play, or when he takes the ball into play again; if he does that, the opponent can continue the play with an indirect free kick from the halfway line.

Special rule The ball is taken into play again from the goal line with dribble; the opponent starts to take possession of the ball by withdrawing to their half of the field. Exclusion

Kick-in: a goal cannot be scored directly from it. The ball must be placed onto the touch line. The opponent’s players must stay at least 5 metres from the ball. The ball must be taken into play within 4 seconds.

In case of the first five offences: a wall can be formed in front of the kicking player; the opponent’s players must stay at least 5 metres from the ball; a goal can be scored directly from the free kick. After the 6th offence a direct free kick can be performed from the second penalty point, and no wall can be formed in this case.
