Counter indications
Although there are not too many counter indications, occasionally a special care is needed when performing aquafitness exercises. Medical advice is necessary if patients already had a history of cardiovascular or pulmonary problems, or, if they suffer from high blood pressure, or diseases of the muscles. Other possible counter indications include fresh wounds, chlorine allergy, infectious diseases of the skin and fever. There are people who have a fear of deep water. In this case they should first try to do the exercises in wait-high or chest-high water and should stay close to the side of the pool. It is not recommended to do the exercises on empty stomach and, if we are sick or, feel dizzy, we should immediately stop exercising.
