Salt cabin, salt room
It is an artificially built cabin which recalls the atmosphere of a salt cave. When building them the most important is to provide the necessary number of seats or beds to make the cabins more comfortable for patients. Lighting is also an important element in creating an ambient atmosphere, but it may be important, too, to have lighting for reading, too. It is also useful to create opportunities for exercises, including table tennis, billiards and table football. These activities may help to kill the the time spent ’imprisoned’ in the salt cabin. It is important, too, to provide equipment which is resistent to the chemical, corrosion effects of salt.
