Tai Chi

Tai Chi is often identified with beautiful and slow movements, although this definition is not necessarily true. In Hungary and also abroad there are three main Tai Chi styles.

Yang –style, which can be characterized with slow, steady movements performed at even rate. Taoist Tai-Chi, which concentrates on the health benefits and which is free from movements, which are reminders of martial arts. The third type is the Chen-style Taiji (Tai Chi), which can be described by alternating slow and explosive movements. ( Chen Taiji is the oldest style.)
